Michael Daum, February 2008

ArtsUnited will feature the paintings of local artist Michael Daum at Stork's, 2505 NE 15th Avenue in Wilton Manors, from February 4 through 29, 2008. The exhibit is free and open to the public. Born in West Bend, Wisconsin, Michael Daum studied psychology and art at the University of Minnesota where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Michael went on to earn a Master of Arts Degree from Webster College in Vienna, Austria in 1982. He studied with Norbert Geza Kern in Austria from 2000 to 2005. While working for the United Nations from 1978 to 2001, Mr. Daum lived in Vienna, Damascus, Amman and Gaza. He now splits his time and paints in South Florida and Austria.
